Becoming and Essence Seeker: How Creativity Can Bring Us Closer to the Divine

An Urban Devi event with Rukmini Poddar

By nature, we are all inherently creative, conscious beings. Our creativity offers us a bridge to not only express our emotions but also to understand and dive into our inner world. In this session, we will cultivate our own creativity in order to better connect to our emotions and, ultimately, to our divine source. This session will be informative and experiential - we will practice “drawing our feelings” together! Come prepared with some paper and basic art supplies, and see how engaging in your creativity can teach you more about your inner world and your relationship to Krishna.

Bio: Rukmini is the author of Draw Your Feelings: A Creative Journal to Help Connect with Your Emotions through Art, published by Penguin Random House.
