Ways of Wisdom: From Seed to Harvest

An Urban Devi event with Lila Devi Dasi

Whether gained through joys or challenges, our wisdom is often hard-won. In this workshop, we will explore the themes of how we acquire and cultivate wisdom, how to lovingly reap our harvest, and how to appropriately share its abundance based on the tradition of Bhakti Yoga.

Bio: Lila Devi Dasi - Conscious being. Bhakti yogi. Fearless seeker of the Infinite. Wise woman in training. A perpetual student, Lila has been learning and practicing yoga philosophy, psychology, health sciences, and community development, for over two decades. Combining life challenges with a desire to serve, she aspires to continue growing in her service of studying, mentoring, and sharing Krishna Consciousness in a way that honors timeless tradition and its essence while considering practical applications in the current age. Most often, you can find Lila serving alongside her many mentors, lovingly supporting individuals, discussing Krishna and our relationship to Him, and dreaming up wonderful new ways to express love and gratitude.

Urban Devi is a monthly interactive women’s discussion circle that seeks to make spirituality accessible to women in the 21st century. Each session will focus on a theme based on topics that are of importance to women and will offer insight and practical applications from the practice of Bhakti Yoga.
