Why Do I React the Way I Do?

An Urban Devi event with Vrndavan Vinodini Devi Dasi

Often, our reactive patterns (i.e. snapping at others, shutting down, getting impatient, feeling overwhelmed, pushing ourselves to do more, etc..) get the better of us. It's common to feel helpless and think, “I have no idea how to stop this, even though I know it's not good for me.” In our time together, we will explore WHAT causes us to exhibit these reactive patterns, WHY we continue to engage in them, and HOW the Bhagavad Gita offers insights to become more intentionally responsive through interactive discussions and more.

Bio: Vrndavana Vinodini dasi (Vrin) is a Leadership & Mindfulness Coach who specializes in helping individuals, groups and teams to decrease their emotional and mental reactivity. She uses the framework of the Enneagram, yoga psychology, and meditation practices to help others solve the question of, "Why do I get in my own way?" Alongside coaching, she shares the Gita, leads kirtan and offers meditation in yoga studios and online.
